Samantha Avalon writes songs like old postcards tucked into coat pockets — tender, wistful, and quietly cinematic. Blending pop, jazz, and indie influences, her music drifts between warm vintage textures, delicate orchestration, and intimate storytelling, drawing comparisons to Laufey, Norah Jones, and Feist.
In 2024, her single I Can't Compete received support from BBC Introducing and praise from publications such as Plastic Magazine, Mesmerized, and Couch Mag, while landing on several independent playlists such as The Indie Singer-Songwriter and New Female Pop Artists.
Her debut EP Keep On Trying is an ode to resilience, written during her mother’s battle with cancer and completed after her passing. The project carries a simple message: to keep going, even when everything feels unsteady. She is currently working on her debut album for 2027.
Samantha grew up in a small village on the west coast of France, surrounded by marshes, salt farms and a family of creatives. With little to do but listen to CDs, write songs and dream about London, she moved there at eighteen to study music and immerse herself in its live scene, performing at venues including Ronnie Scott's, The Monarch and the Spice of Life.
Alongside her work as an artist, Samantha is also a music therapist, supporting people navigating self-expression and emotional challenges through songwriting, using music as a space for both healing and creation.

Elle prépare actuellement son premier album, prévu pour 2027.
Originaire d’un petit village ostréicole de la côte ouest française, Samantha grandit dans une famille créative, bercée par les CD qui tournent en boucle et l’imaginaire d’une vie Londonienne. À dix-huit ans, elle traverse la Manche pour y étudier la musique, portée par le désir de chanter, d’écrire et de rencontrer d’autres musiciens. Elle y construit peu à peu sa place sur scène, se produisant notamment au The Monarch, The Spice of Life ou encore Ronnie Scott’s.
Parallèlement à sa carrière d’artiste, Samantha est musicothérapeute. Elle accompagne des personnes dans leur expression personnelle et leurs émotions à travers l’écriture de chansons, faisant de la musique un espace de soin autant que de création.
